First up is the closed Fawn Lodge, featured throughout Jack Frost (1997). The lodge has been used in many movies and TV shows over the years, including Giant From The Unknown (1958) and Dr. Dolittle 2 (2001). In Jack Frost, it is where the Snowman Building Competition is held. The lodge was built in 1924, but closed it’s doors in the mid 1980s. Efforts are underway to restore it.

The next location is located directly across the street. The building on the right was used as Davrow Hardware in Jack Frost, where they get the anti-freeze to kill the snowman. It is now a closed down biker bar called Hog's Heaven.
The building on the left is the Fawnskin Market, and it is the market where Linda Blair and Donna Wilkes stop at the beginning of Grotesque (1988).

Just down the street is the Fawnskin Post Office. This building was used as the police station in both Jack Frost and Grotesque. It is where the Sheriff throws away his son's anti-freeze-laced cookies in Jack Frost, and it is where Tab Hunter forces the punks into the back of his car with a shotgun in Grotesque.

Continuing from the post office a few miles around Big Bear Lake, you will find the house from Grotesque (1988) where Linda Blair, Donna Wilkes, and her parents are murdered by the punks. Big Bear Lake is right across the street.
