Black Christmas (1974)

Black Christmas (1974) was filmed in Toronto, Ontario.

The sorority house from Black Christmas (1974) is located in Old Toronto, Ontario.  The house is on a private road and director Bob Clark stumbled across the house by accident.  Actors Art Hindle and Lynne Griffin returned to the house in the DVD extra Black Christmas Revisited.  Unfortunately, this extra was included on the now out-of-print 2002 Special Edition and was not carried over to the current blu-ray / DVD release.

Community Centre 55

The police station in the film is pretty easy to find because the street signs are clearly visible in the film.  The building looks to have been an actual police station, as the building still says police station at the top.  However, it is currently home to Community Centre 55

  1. The police station scene was filmed in old city of Toronto Police No 10 which became 55 Div station for a short while after amalgamation.
