The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986)

The Mean-Eyed Cat (formerly Cut-Rite Chain Saws)

Though most of the locations from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986) are no longer standing, one that is still standing is the former Cut-Rite Chain Saws store.  This was an actual chainsaw store in Austin, Texas where Dennis Hopper's character visits in a brief scene early in the movie.  Although the Cut-Rite Chain Saws store is closed for business, the building remains intact and in 2004 it was turned into a Johnny Cash themed bar called the Mean-Eyed Cat.  The original Cut-Rite Chain Saws sign can still be seen hanging inside the bar.

  1. Please are there any other locations still standing? How about that radio station? And even if it's no longer standing, do you know the place where it used to be? I'd also love to see some other locations, leatherface family in Jarell, TX... do you have something?

  2. I remember trying to find the radio station location and reading that it was no longer standing. However, I don't remember where it was or how I found it.

However, this link (http://www.texaschainsawmassacre.net/Sequels/TCM2/TCM2.htm) should give you information on how to find the amusement park where Leatherface and co resided (also no longer standing).
