The extremely low-budget slasher flick The Last Slumber Party (1988) was filmed in Metairie, Louisiana. The house used in the opening scene is actually located right next door to Linda's house, where the slumber party and most of the film takes place. In the film, the assumption is that these houses aren't located together. However, the film doesn't do a very good job of hiding it, as you can clearly see the house next door when the doctor comes home later in the movie.
