Man's Best Friend (1993) was filmed in Sierra Madre, California. The houses used for the homes of Lori and Rudy are both on the same street. Even though there are cuts in the scene where Max runs from one house to the other, the route he takes is geographically correct. Rudy's house is just down the road and across the street from Lori's house. Rudy's house was built in 1909 and Lori's house was built in 1910.
