The recent film
Hit And Run (2012) (which was released in theaters this past weekend) features the Rock Store, a location that was previously covered in this blog
here. This location was used as a diner in
Friday The 13th: A New Beginning (1985). It also made appearances in two season five episodes of
The Wonder Years (1988). Turns out it also appeared in a third season five episode of
The Wonder Years titled
Grandpa's Car.

The Rock Store is a well-known biker hangout, frequented by celebrities like Jay Leno, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Harrison Ford. It has made several other on-screen appearances over the years, including the movies The Sweetest Thing (2002), Cobra (1986), and Panic In Year Zero! (1962). In addition to The Wonder Years, it has also appeared in several other TV shows including episodes of Twin Peaks (1990), Dallas (1978), Charlie's Angels (1976), Monk (2002), and Falcon Crest (1981). A few years ago, the location was the focus of a documentary titled Ed & Vern's Rock Store (2008).
