Early in the film, as Joyce and Beverly take a walk through
the neighborhood (a scene no doubt inspired by Halloween (1978) ), they are also walking down Idlewood
Rd.
Although Beverly is
supposedly leaving her house (the Brody house), she actually enters the street
from the driveway at 1644 Idlewood Rd. The girls then cross the street, heading down
the road until they are stopped by Joyce’s father, Sheriff Brody, in front of 1629
Idlewood Rd.
