Both House By The Cemetery (1981) and Ghosthouse (1988) were filmed in the same house in Scituate, Massachusetts. Built in 1874, the house was known as the Ellis Estate House but is now home to the Scituate Arts Association. The house was recently restored, receiving a bright red and yellow paint job.
