Witchtrap (1989) was filmed in Stonedene Mansion (formerly known as the Samuel Martin House), located in director Kevin S. Tenney's hometown of Fairfield, California. The house was built in 1861, and was placed on the National Register Of Historic Places in 1977. It was renovated around the time it was placed on the Register. In recent years, developers have been trying to encroach on the property, butting heads with those who want to preserve this historic home.
