The wraparound segments with the old man and his razor-blade apples were filmed in the Menlo Avenue - West Twenty-Ninth Street Historic District. Most of the homes in this neighborhood date back to the late 1800s, and the entire neighborhood was added to the National Register Of Historic Places in 1987. The old man's house is located right on the corner of Menlo Avenue and West 29th Street. The house was built in 1899. The opening scene was filmed right in front of this house. The house is shown again at the end of the film, when Judy and Roger walk past on their way home from Hull House

Hull House was a little more difficult to track down. At the time the movie was filmed, the big abandoned house was owned by a supermarket chain who was planning to tear it down. However, advocate groups fighting for landmark status legally prevented the supermarket chain from demolishing the house. In the meantime, they rented the house to the Night Of The Demons crew. The house offered nearly everything the production needed. They even used to upstairs for production offices and dressing rooms. The movie was filmed in April of 1987.
The house returned in the sequel, Night Of The Demons 2 (1994). By that time, the house was in much worse shape. The house was demolished sometime after that.
Being that the house is no longer standing, it wasn't easy to track down. But I believe that the former property is now a parking lot for a Ralph's Supermarket, located just down the road from where the wraparound scenes were shot. There isn't much to see on Google or Bing maps, but you can look up historic aerials and see that the house was there. It was located at the intersection of Menlo Avenue and West Adams Blvd.

Night Of The Demons is my favorite horror film of all time, so I was overjoyed to finally find the location of Hull House!
Bit of additional trivia: Actress Amelia Kinkade is the niece of The Golden Girls (1985) star Rue McClanahan, who actually visited the Night Of The Demons set.
