Although IMDB and a few other sources claim that Idle Hands (1999) was filmed in the same neighborhood as Halloween (1978), this isn't true. Idle Hands was actually filmed about 4 miles north of the South Pasadena locations featured in Halloween.

All four of the neighboring main homes are located in Pasadena, surrounding the intersection of N Madison Avenue and E Jackson Street. Anton's home is located on the southeast corner. Pnub's house is just across Madison Avenue on the southwest corner. Molly's house is located right across Jackson Street from Anton's house. Randy lives in the house next door to Molly, just to the west. The houses were all built around 1910. If you look up the Street View images on Google Maps, they were taken in October. So the houses are actually dressed up for the holiday, just like in the film.
