The campus scenes were filmed at the University of Toronto. The sorority / frat houses were located on the University of Toronto’s own Greek Row. The “Beta Tau” house is currently the Theta Delta Chi fraternity house.

The Party House

The abandoned and supposedly haunted frat house where they hold the party is on the next block over. The house appears to have been renovated since filming. Supposedly, at one time the city was planning to tear it and the neighboring buildings down in order to build an expressway.

The Cure - "Charlotte Sometimes"

Holloway Sanatorium in England served as Doddsville High School in the movie Slaughter High (1986). The Sanatorium closed its doors in December 1980, and was abandoned and heavily vandalized by the time the movie was filmed there. Renovations began in 1994, and in 2000 it became townhouses. The building was also used in a few episodes of the TV series Inspector Morse (1987) and the mini-series Jack The Ripper (1988). Several music videos have filmed there, including: "Forever Young" by Alphaville, "Total Eclipse Of The Heart" by Bonnie Tyler, "Bark At The Moon" by Ozzy Osbourne, and "Charlotte Sometimes" by The Cure.

The Hazing (2004)

The Fitzgerald House

The Hazing (2004) was filmed at the Fitzgerald house, a Gothic-looking Los Angeles home that was designated as a Historic-Cultural Monument in November of 1982. The house was built in 1903. The house neighbors the Auguste Marquis Residence, which served as the exterior of Fisher & Sons Funeral Home from the HBO series Six Feet Under (2001).

There's Nothing Out There (1992) was filmed in Palisades, New York. The house was built in 1984 and still looks the same as it did in the film. The movie was filmed from August 7th to September 9th of 1989. The movie was made independently and played at a few festivals and small theater engagements. It wasn't picked up for distribution until 1992.

Nightmare Man (2006) was filmed in Big Bear, California. The house featured in the movie was built in 1984. The movie had originally planned to shoot in Los Angeles and even had a location there. The original location fell through at the last minute, which led them to the house at Big Bear Lake.

Big Kay's Burger Drive-In

I've seen conflicting stories about Big Kay's Burger Drive-In. One says it was formerly a pizza joint, another says that it was built specifically for the film. The building is no longer there, not much to see besides a nearby cellphone tower. The motel across the street is still there, which can be spotted in the film.

Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen

Tucson is home to the world's largest airplane graveyard, which is featured in a scene from The Wraith. The Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, the adjacent Pima Air & Space Museum, and the Aerospace Maintenance & Regeneration Center (AMARC) have been featured in several movies, including Can't Buy Me Love (1987), My Science Project (1985), and more recently Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen (2009). Supposedly some of the planes from Top Gun (1986) are kept here.

Sabino Canyon Recreation Area

The lake scenes were filmed at Sabino Canyon Recreation Area on the Sabino Creek. Supposedly the creek bed is dry most of the year, except in the early spring when the snow from the mountains melt and fill the creek bed. The movie was filmed in January through April of 1986, so it would have been about that time when the movie filmed here. The coordinates below take you to the creek bed, but not necessarily the exact spot of filming.
