The opening scene was filmed at the West Middletown Cemetery in Hopewell Township.  In the film, the wrought-iron gate they drive though shows the name as the Evans City Cemetery, an homage to the original film which was shot in the actual Evans City Cemetery in Evans City, Pennsylvania.

About 4 miles east down Pennsylvania Route 844 from the cemetery is the house used in film.  The property still looks the same as it did in the film, although recent pictures show that the house has been painted yellow.

  1. Are there going to be any more locations added? You do a good job of finding obscure movie locations.

  2. Sorry about the lack of updates, I've been a little sidetracked lately. I'm going to try to continue this blog, but unfortunately updates will be less frequent.

I'll try to have a new post up by the end of the week.

  3. Why would want to watch that when you can see 1968 version of one of the greatest movies ever made?
