Ghostkeeper (1982) was filmed at the Deer Lodge in Lake Louise at
Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada. The movie was filmed entirely on location during December of 1980. The lodge was built in 1921. It was recently renovated in 2008, but most of its structure and rustic look has been maintained. Director Jim Makichuk has expressed interest in returning to the location for a sequel / remake.
